No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
A new company is coming to Putnam County and it's bringing with it dozens of new jobs.
Putnam County Commissioner Steve Andes said a company purchased 11 acres in the Putnam Business Park in Fraziers Bottom earlier this month.
County records show Ludowici LLC, an Australian company which manufactures mining, quarry and industrial equipment, is the buyer.
In July, the Putnam County Commission approved a 20 percent tax reduction for a then unidentified company, saying 70 jobs would be created.
