The United Way of Central West Virginia will host the 7th Annual Sunday Scoop, and WOWK will be there to participate.
The event will take place on August 19 on D Street (the Mound) during South Charleston's Summerfest from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. Families will be able to enjoy free ice cream that will be scooped by local corporate teams competing for the "People's Choice Award".
All the funds raised will go towards families in need in Central West Virginia.
