The Huntington Mall is getting kids ready for school with a special event. The Back to School Safety Day will be held on August 18 from noon - 7 p.m.
There will be a variety of displays that will help kids and parents return to school with safety in mind. There will be a distracted driving and DUI simulator for teenagers with a driver's license. Information that focuses on Internet dangers and bullying will also be available.
The event is free and will be located in the Center Court of the mall.
