Two Huntington men were arrested Tuesday and charged with stealing an air conditioner.
Sam Scott Haren, 26, and Timothy Scott Haren, 25, were arrested after police said they stole a two-ton air conditioner in the 2300-block of 10th Avenue Tuesday night.
An officer was patrolling the area after a witness gave a description of the two men driving a green Chevy Cavalier with an air conditioner hanging out of the back of the car, according to the police report.
The officer caught them in a parking lot in the 1600-block of Artisan Avenue, where police said the men had tools and were stripping the air conditioner.
The air conditioner was worth $1,200.
