Members of the West Virginia Hospital Association Roundtable met in Charleston on Wednesday. They were discussing the new health care law and the potential impact to businesses.
Members said that they're already under-reimbursed by the government. Now, they want to make sure their costs are covered under the new system.
"Provider-based reimbursement for our critical access hospitals. One of our hospitals is critical access, and we want to make sure that there is some different adjustments being made on our cost report and we want to just make sure that those issues are known," said Christopher Knight with WVU Hospitals East.
The hospital association holds periodic meetings to discuss current issues and concerns in the medical and health care industry.
