HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -
Huntington police are investigating a home invasion in which a resident received minor injuries.
It happened last night around 10 p.m. at a residence on Springdale Drive in Huntington, according to a news release from the Huntington Police Department.
During the robbery, one suspect struck a woman in the back of the head, according to the news release. She received minor bruising.
Two men armed with handguns entered the house with their faces covered, the news release states. Three adults and one child were home at the time.
The suspects took several items from the home, the news release states.
The men left the home in a red sedan, according to the news release. Both were described as being in their 20s and between 160-190 pounds.
