Putnam County Sheriff's Department is investigating the
death of a 3-month-old baby boy.
Deputies received a call this morning from the Brittany Point Apartments in
Winfield, according to the department.
Deputies said the boy's mother woke up this morning and discovered the baby
dead.
The body has been sent to the West Virginia Medical Examiner's
Office for an autopsy.
