Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
WINFIELD, West Virginia -
The Putnam County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate the death of a 3-month old baby boy.
The infant was found Friday morning at Brittany Point Apartments in Winfield. The boys' mother tried to wake him up but he was unresponsive.
Investigators say the name of the infant is Bryson Cody Roush. They add they confiscated drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment but at this point they are not sure if that was a contributing factor in the boy's death.
The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine how the infant died.
