In Putnam County school starts next Thursday. For students at Buffalo High School, they'll have a brand new state-of-the-art school.
Now the rush is on to finish moving in to the new facility. Principal Richard Grimm said they are about 75 per cent finished.
As crews work long hours getting the building ready for school, there's excitement in the air about the new facility.
"The people of Buffalo and the students have all wanted something for years. We broke ground in October of 2010. We've been watching it come up and it hasn't been fast enough. Now it's finally here and everybody is so excited," said Grimm.
Student orientation at the new school is next Wednesday evening. Money to build the new school is from the 2009 bond referendum.
