Sentencing was delayed for a man accused of brutally attacking his now ex-wife in June 2011.
This morning in Putnam County Circuit Court, Judge Phillip Stowers ordered a 60-day evaluation for Gary Wayne Taylor. Sentencing will take place in 75 days.
Prosecutors say the attack started when Taylor asked his the victim to rescind divorce proceedings but she refused.
Last June Taylor entered a Kennedy Plea on charges of malicious and domestic assault. It means he admits there's enough evidence to convict him but he doesn't admit guilt.
