Crash Injures Several, Blocks Traffic on Interstate 77 - WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

An accident injures at least five people and blocks traffic on Interstate 77 in Raleigh County.

Emergency dispatchers said the crash involved two vehicles.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday near exit 48.

According to dispatchers, one vehicle flipped and another overturned a few minutes later.

The southbound lanes of the West Virginia Turnpike are down to one lane at this time.

Dispatchers ask drivers to find an alternate route if possible.
