Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
A Charleston woman has been charged with first-degree murder after the victim died from his injuries, according to court documents.
Stacy McCormick, 30, was originally charged with malicious wounding.
Police responded to a stabbing incident on Washington Street West on Aug. 16.
There, they found David Snyder with a stab wound to his chest, they said.
Police said McCormick admitted to stabbing Snyder during a domestic dispute.
Snyder was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center.
He died from his injuries on Sunday, police said.
McCormick is now charged with first degree murder and is waiting to be arraigned.
