Man accused of trying to steal copper from AEP property

A Huntington man has been charged with trying to steal copper from American Electric Power's property, according to court documents.

Jay McFeely, 24, is charged with breaking and entering.

Police said McFeely tried to steal copper from AEP's 29th Street West location.

He also admitted to two other breaking and entering incidents, police said.

McFeely is in the South Central Regional Jail with bail set at $35,000.
