One person was killed in an ATV wreck in Fayette County this morning.

William David Turner, 59, of Pax, was killed in the wreck, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

Turner was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, deputies said in a news release. He was found this morning pinned under the ATV at about 9:05 a.m. Investigators believe the wreck happened between 4:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday.

The cause of the wreck had not be determined as of early Monday afternoon. The preliminary investigation does not indicate other vehicles were involved.

Deputies determined that Turner had medical issues, but it was unclear if they had a role in the crash, the news release states.
