OH water and sanitary sewer systems get grant money

More than $2 million has been awarded to four Ohio projects that will benefit close to 4,000 households, according to a news release.

The money will come from the Community Development Block Grant Residential Public Infrastructure Grant Program. The program provides grants for improvements to water and sanitary sewer systems.

The Village of Fort Shawnee, in Allen County, will get $480,300 to connect the Indian Village Mobile Home Park to the county's wastewater system.

The Village of Cairo, also in Allen County, will get $575,200 to build a new water distribution system that will connect to the city of Lima's water system.

The Village of North Baltimore, in Wood County, will get $600,000 to install sanitary sewer lines.

The Village of Sebring, in Mahoning County, will get $600,000 to upgrade its water treatment plant.
