An intruder stabbed a Chelyan homeowner early this morning.
Jason Eric Hall, 35, was stabbed in the shoulder during the 3 a.m. home invasion in Cordell Court, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department.
Hall was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center. His condition was not available this afternoon, deputies said.
Hall said he was asleep when a white male wearing a black shirt and blue jeans broke into his home and stabbed him in the shoulder, according to the Sheriff's Department.
The suspect is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and 185 pounds, deputies said. He left the scene after the stabbing.
