A Cabell County man accused in the shooting death of his wife appeared in court Monday.
Harry Lee Smith is charged with the murder of his wife Constance Smith in July 2011 on Birkewood Road in Cabell County.
The trial was originally set to start Monday, but the trial has been pushed back.
Cabell County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Chiles says that the defense requested a later trial date.
Jury selection is set for Nov. 5, with the trial scheduled to start Nov. 7.
Investigators with the Cabell County Sheriff's Department say Smith shot his wife.
