Murder charges against a man accused of killing a Charleston teenager have been dismissed.
Marcus Wesley was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Leland Chase Miller. Miller was 17 years old when police said he was gunned down on Lewis Street in 2007.
Police said that Michael Johnson admitted to being the gunman in the case, and he has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Johnson is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.
On Monday, the charges against Wesley were dismissed due to insufficient evidence according to the Kanawha County Prosecutor's Office.
