Cabell county first responders and other agencies met this evening to talk about the way things went during the mock disaster drill last month.
Members of Cabell county 911, Huntington Fire, and Police departments along with others said the drill went very well and communication and planning were the key to their success.
One of the topics most discussed was the U-Tac communication frequency that would have helped take the load from 911 dispatchers.
This would be a way to have a separate channel for emergency crews to use and free up dispatchers to take more calls.
Most agencies say the drill was a success.
They are looking in to a way to secure more funding to help with the U-Tac signal.
