Police officers say if you drink and drive, they will be on the lookout for you.
The Ashland Police Department is participating in the nationwide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
The crackdown on impaired driving will include high-visibility enforcement and several checkpoints.
The department also received a grant through the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety to provide funds for overtime for officers to work only traffic enforcement.
"You have to keep in mind this isn't just Ashland. There are agencies from Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia that are participating in this campaign. So there is a great chance during the next two weeks impaired drivers will be identified and will go to jail," said Mark McDowell, Ashland Police Department.
