Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Huntington Police said a man was trying to break up a fight and was struck in the head with a cinder block, according to a news release.
Police said it happened Monday at 11 p.m. when they responded to 235 Adams Ave. They found a man that had suffered a head injury who was trying to break up a fight in the residence. Officers arrested Shane Ray McCaffrey, 25, of Huntington, and charged him with malicious wounding.
The victim was sent to the hospital for his injuries and was in stable condition.
