The Marshall football team is putting the finishing touches on their game plan for Saturdays Friends of Coal Bowl. Head Coach Doc Holliday has been working long and hard to finish his scouting report which is a long and lengthy one at that. The main thing the Herd will have to do is try to contain Heisman Trophy candidate Geno Smith and speed wide-out Tavon Austin. They are both game breakers and to win they have to be contained."We've got an excellent opponent coming up. Anytime your going to someone else's venue and you play a top ten team that's picked to be either first or second in the Big 12 conference you know they're an excellent team." said Holliday, "They've got great players at every position, Geno Smith is probably the best quarterback in the country, got a shot at winning the Hiesman, picked to be the Big 12 conference player of the year, it wasn't him it would probably be Tavon so we know we have a great challenge ahead of us. It's important we have a great week of practice."
