Deputies with the Scioto County Sheriff's Dept. joined other law enforcement agencies in taking down a prescription drug trafficking operation.

According to a press release, Scioto County deputies, as part of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, used a search warrant to enter a home at 17 Oak St., in Lucasville, Ohio, on Tuesday, Aug. 28.

Deputies charged Patrick Joseph Rauck, 27, Cara R. Anderson, 28, and James R. Liles, 41, with felony trafficking in Oxycodone. Deputies also executed several bench warrants for Rauck.

The Southern Ohio Drug Task Force had been investigating Rauck, Anderson, and Liles for several weeks before getting search warrants. Deputies found $1,900 in cash, drug paraphernalia, and empty prescription bottles for Oxycodone pills. The prescriptions had been filled in Florida as recently as Aug. 21, 2012.

Rauck, Anderson, and Liles are being held at the Scioto County Jail and were arraigned on Wednesday. Rauck is being held on a $77,000 bond, Anderson is being held on a $70,000 bond, and Liles is being held on a holder placed by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
