All lanes of U.S. Route 23 have now reopened.
At least one lane of U.S. Route 23 has reopened in Ashland.
Crews continue to work on repairs after a city water main break Wednesday, according to a press release from the Kentucky Department of Highways.
They expect all lanes to reopen later Thursday evening. Until all lanes reopen, vehicles will be rerouted along 39th and 45th streets. Commercial trucks and other vehicles must detour using I-64 and US 60.
