The West Virginia University football team has a bye week before meeting James Madison September 15th. While W-V-U has the weekend off, Marshall is prepping for Western Carolina and their home opener. While Western Carolina isn't a top-flight caliber program like West Virginia, the Catamounts are very athletic. Now there were several big upset's this past week  And Marshal Head Coach Doc Holliday knows his team needs to be focused.

"Looking forward to come home and playing this week." said Holliday, "I think the important thing our team needs to understand and the coaches have to understand is be prepared to play every week or you get beat. There were a couple of examples of that last week with Pitt and Youngstown State, with Houston and Texas State, Memphis and UT Martin, so we got a team coming in here, gotta make sure we're prepared to play. I know our guys are anxious to get back out on the field today and get better."
