Detroit man facing prison time in Huntington heroin case

A Detroit man pleaded guilty in federal court to heroin possession, according to a news release from United State Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Gerald Height, 37 of Detroit, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute heroin.

Authorities said they found 35.5 grams of heroin in Height's suitcase after a traffic stop in Huntington back in March.

Heights faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

He will be sentenced on December 10.
