KANAWHA CITY, West Virginia -

Charleston police this morning arrested a man and charged him will attempting to sell guns, in some cases, reported stolen, out of the back of a van in Kanawha City.

Charles Cook was arrested Tuesday morning at a Go-Mart in Kanawha City. He is accused of having stolen weapons, handcuffs and illegal blue lights in his vehicle, according to police.

Police confiscated more than 15 guns, including two automatic weapons, investigators said.

Cook had flashing blue lights attached to his vehicle and a badge that reads "Fugitive Recovery Task Force," according to the criminal complaint. Cook claimed to be a bounty hunter, although investigators say he is not a licensed bounty hunter.

Cook was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. He was being held on $15,000 bond.
