A Kanawha County man pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, according to a news release from United States Attorney Booth Goodwin.

Gary McFaddin, 48 of Tornado, could get up to 20 years in prison.

McFaddin was arrested after the South Charleston Police Department and Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team seized a package at the UPS distribution plant in South Charleston in June.

Authorities said the package belonged to McFaddin and that he intended to sell both the oxycodone and hydrocodone tablets inside.

He will be sentenced in December.
