The child has been found. With the help of social media in getting the word out, Jackson White has been found safe, police said.

Police say it is likely child neglect charges will be filed.

ORIGINAL STORY

Police are looking for a missing child in Lawrence County, Ohio.

Lawrence County Sheriff's Department deputies and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are looking for Jackson White, 11, who has been missing since about 10 a.m. today.

White was in a car and got out at a residence off of County Road 1, police said.

Police say he had autism.

A witness taking his own child to school says he saw the boy get out of his mother's car at 7:30 a.m.

He was last seen wearing basketball shorts and a blue shirt.

The boy's mother was in the car asleep, police said. The child was not reported missing until his grandmother called police at 11 a.m.
