Kick off of week four of high school football is a little more than 24 hours away, and boy do we have huge match up for our game of the night. South Hills will be the site for our showcase, when George Washington hosts Hurricane. Both teams come in at 2-1, and both teams come in with high-powered offenses, averaging more than 40 points a game.
The 'skins will have to deal with the state's best player Ryan Switzer, while the Patriots defense will have to contain the state's 2nd ranked q-b, Hurricane junior Austin Hensley. Needless to say this game is big for both squads and they know it.
"Really every week is tough," said G-W head coach Steve Edwards Jr., "but it's the one at hand and it's the one we gotta get ready for and hopefully we're up for the challenge." Hurricane head man Jeremy Taylor added, "Oh yeah real tough test. G-W is one of the best teams in the state year in and year out. They've got probably the best player in the state so yeah, it's gonna be a tough game."
