Hundreds of people lined Main Street in Barboursville Thursday to watch the annual Fall Festival parade.
The parade kicks off a four day festival in downtown Barboursville.
Some say they have only missed one parade in 31 years and others brought their children for their first glimpse.
The parade featured many floats and fire trucks from all around the area.
Children scurried to catch their share of candy being tossed out by nearly every entry in the parade.
Some say they come for the food, while others say they like to see the marching bands.
The event wrapped up with a street dance with music and lights from a local D. J.
