Charleston Police have confirmed that Jarod Washington was taken into custody in the Beckley area on Friday evening.
They say officers from the West Virginia State Police arrested Washington and another person near the Beckley exit minutes before 7 p.m.
Washington will be arraigned Friday evening in Raleigh County, according to Detective Steve Cooper with Charleston Police. He was arrested on robbery and murder charges.

The Charleston Police Department issued warrants Washington in a Monday shooting on Piccadilly Street. According to police, Roy Chambliss was found dead and Natalie Sprouse had a gunshot wound to the arm.
Police issued warrants for Washington and Daniel Little, who was arrested Sept. 10.
