It's not something you would expect to see in the center of a high school football field on a Friday night, but a Health Net helicopter landed right in the middle of Chapmanville High School's field.
According to people at the stadium, the medical helicopter needed to pick up patients from a nearby call and there was no place else in the area that could safety accommodate the landing.
As a result, officials at the school delayed the start of the Chapmanville football game on Friday night so that the helicopter could land and pick up the patients.
The football game between Chapmanville and Poca resumed once the Health Net helicopter took off.
