An early morning fire leaves a Guyandotte family homeless.
The fire broke out in a house in Guyandotte around 8:30 a.m. Huntington and Guyandotte fire departments battled the blaze.
Firefighters say it started in the living room and appeared to be an electrical problem.
Family members helped clean up the mess and say the fire was contained to one room. The Huntington Salvation Army and American Red Cross are helping the family with their needs.
The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
