Charleston's first open-air artisan market is now open to the public.
The East End Bazaar along Washington St. E. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Charleston Saturday morning. Vendors from across the state will sell crafts and wares at the site.
Students from the University of Charleston and other volunteers helped build the bazaar over the past few weeks.
The market will be open every Saturday from April to October from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The bazaar is part of East End Main Street's effort to revitalize Charleston's East End.
