Police catch suspect after 3 state high speed chase

Ceredo Police say officers chased a man through three state before catching him in Chesapeake.

Officers say they gave chase after a man refused to stop on I-64 for a traffic stop.

They say Teddy Arrington, Jr. led police westbound to Kentucky, turned around, and illegally passed cars over a dozen times before crossing into Ohio.

Police from all three states were on alert and assisted during the chase.

Arrington then fled on Buffalo Creek Road, where he abandoned the car and fled into the woods on foot where he was caught.

Arrington faces a long list of charges including fleeing, illegal passing, and illegal tags.

He is in the Lawrence county Jail.
