Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man on suspicion of manufacturing meth Sunday.

Deputies received a tip about a shed that was being used for something suspicious, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.

A deputy went to the Weir Lane home and met with the property owner. She said her son used the outbuilding and she was not aware of what he kept there.

The deputy searched the building and detected the odor associated with the making of meth, according to the news release. He also located many items consistent with the manufacturing of meth. Isopropyl alcohol, liquid Heet, Iodine, various glassware and tubing along with multiple unidentified liquid samples were discovered.
