You'll soon see some shiny new police cruisers patrolling the streets. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department unveiled 14 new Ford Interceptors on Monday.
They will take the place of the old Dodge Chargers that the department has been using for years.
The new cars cost $27,000 each, but have better suspension and brake systems, according to officers. Drivers said that the new cruisers should be safer on the roads.
The new cruisers also have all-wheel drive capabilities for winter weather and use Flex-Fuel to save money.
