Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Nine people have been arrested after an investigation by the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department into a group of individuals stealing motorcycles and ATVs in the Sissonville and Elk areas.
On Tuesday, deputies recovered three stolen ATVs and a motor scooter, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.
Nine individuals have been charged with various crimes:
Roger Lee Burdette, 24, and Tiffany Dawn Shaffer, both of Sissonville: charged with operating a clandestine lab
Kevin Allen Hudson, 28, of Sissonville: charged with transferring and receiving stolen property
Steven R. Burdette, 37, of Charleston: charged with two counts of transferring and receiving stolen property
Brandi Rose, 27, and Paula Brown, 27, both of Charleston: charged with grand larceny and accessory before the fact
Joshua Snyder, 22, of Charleston: charged with grand larceny and transferring and receiving stolen property
Helen Skeens, 53, and Wayne Thaxton, 59, both of Charleston: charged with simple possession of a controlled substance
More charges are pending as this investigation continues, the news release states.
