An event to discuss preventing drug abuse is set for 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, according to a news release.
The meeting will be hosted by Cabell County Substance Abuse Prevention Partnership, the Growing Safe and Drug Free Communities Group, and Milton Baptist Church.
Reducing drug use and results from a survey of students in grades 6-12 will be discussed.
The event will take place at Milton's Baptist Church's parking lot; the church is located at 1123 Church St. in Milton.
