Marshall men's basketball team received a verbal commitment Wednesday morning from a senior out in California.
The Thundering Herd needed a big man in the post and it looks like Marshall landed one. Enter Shawn Smith.
A six-foot-six, 220 pound power forward from Sacramento, CA will be calling Huntington home next year.
Smith is currently playing for the City College of San Francisco.
Smith wont officially become a member of the Thundering Herd until he signs his National Letter of Intent next spring.
