Some students in Logan County laced up their walking shoes Thursday. They had what they called a mini marathon to kick off a year long collaborative event.
Logan High School and Logan Middle School started a school wide service project to support the American Cancer Society.
The service project will culminate at the annual Logan County Relay for Life in May 2013. This Thursday they are hosting a '"mini relay marathon" to kick off the partnership.
The schools will recruit a joint team comprised of teachers and students. Throughout the year both schools will hold coordinated fund raisers and events to raise both money and awareness.
