Ernest Young Jr., 28, was sentenced to 20 years for the beating death of Wilfred Naylor at his home in Mammoth last summer.
Naylor was 81-years-old.
Young claims Naylor made sexual advances toward him, and that angered him to the point where he resorted to violence.
