2 men charged in connection with Parkersburg woman's death

Parkersburg police detectives charged two men on Friday for their alleged role in the death of 25-year-old Brandy Marie Adams. Adams' body was found in the trunk of her own vehicle shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday at the Seventh Street Car Wash in Parkersburg.

Arthur Allen Thornton and Victor Lee Thompson are charged with concealing a deceased human body and conspiracy to conceal a deceased human body, both are felonies.

Thornton and Thompson moved Adams' body from the Meadowview Trailer Park, the place where she died, according to the criminal complaint. The two moved her body to the car wash.

It also states that the use of illegal drugs contributed to Adams' death.

Thornton was taken into custody on outstanding warrants not related to Adams' death. Thompson was also arrested on Friday.

Adams body is currently at the State Medical Examiner's Office.

The investigation is continuing and police have not ruled out additional charges or arrests in the case.
