Huntington children got an uplifting message in morals today at Marcum Terrace.

Sean Hornbuckle sat down with kids at the community center to talk to them about staying positive in the face of difficult times.

Hornbuckle told them his story about overcoming financial and family burdens to get a college education.

"A lot of times in these settings, people don't have the confidence to do what they want to do so I want to instill a confidence in them to know that no matter what your circumstances are in life, you can do what you want to do." Hornbuckle said.

The community has activities and serves meals for children in the area.
