A Kanawha County woman is faced with multiple felony charges after investigators said she stole a lawn mower from her mom to feed her drug addiction.
Amber Harper, 29, is charged with grand larceny and transferring and receiving stolen property.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Dept. said Harper stole the lawn mower with the help of her boyfriend.
The victim told deputies her daughter is addicted to drugs and has stolen from her before.
Harper tried to sell the lawn mower to another man for $400, according to court documents.
Harper is in the South Central Regional Jail with bail set at $15,000.
