Officers discover a meth lab in a child's bedroom at a home on Crump street in Raceland.

According to a press release from the FIVCO Area Task Force, Raceland Police officers were at the house searching for an individual that had been involved in a domestic violence incident.

When they searched the residence they discovered what appeared to be a lab in the bedroom of child at the home.

Officers notified FADE who responded and confirmed the lab.

DESI was contacted to dismantle the lab and found several one-bottle method labs and generators at the home.

Raceland police arrested David Wellman, 32, and Vicki Stepp, 27 charging them with wanton endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
