People gathered in front of their televisions on Wednesday evening to watch the first of three presidential debates between President Barack Obama and former Gov. Mitt Romney.

The republican and democrat talked about taxes, jobs, the economy, health care, education and other domestic issues. The focus of the first debate was centered around domestic topics. Future debates will delve into foreign policy and other issues.
