A Kentucky woman is lucky to be alive after being struck by a train.
It happened in Auxier just before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The Floyd county Sheriff's office says that a woman and a 12-year-old boy were riding an ATV when it stalled out on a crossing and the back wheel got stuck in the tracks.
The woman was hit head-on and flipped into a ditch.
She was air lifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital where she is in stable condition.
