The Marshall men's basketball team will play 10 televised games during the upcoming season as a
complete slate of men's basketball game times was released on Tuesday.
In addition to the three CBSSN, one FSN and one ESPN2 broadcast
announced earlier, the Thundering Herd will play three Conference USA
games on CSS. The selected games are Marshall at Southern Miss on Jan.
23 at 7 p.m., UCF at Marshall on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. and Marshall at
Houston on March 2 at 2 p.m.
The Herd's game at Villanova on Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. will be shown
on ESPN3, which can be accessed at ESPN3.com. The Capital Classic
between Marshall and West Virginia in Charleston on Dec. 5 will be shown
statewide on Capital Classic Network.
Every home game that is not televised will be at 7 p.m. with the
exception on the Herd's season opener on Nov. 9 against Longwood which
begins at 7:30 p.m. All non-televised games can be viewed with a paid
subscription to Herd All-Access.
All game times are subject to change as additional TV games could be announced at a later time.
The men's basketball season officially gets underway with
Thundering Herd Madness on Friday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. The Marshall ticket
office will be selling season tickets starting at 4:30 p.m. A
select-a-seat process will be used for any remaining unsold season
tickets.
Last year's season ticket holders can renew anytime up until the
deadline which is 5 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased by calling
800-THE-HERD or by going online to www.HerdZone.com.
